Cortez

Cortez was released in 1972 by the Nike founder Bill Bowerman. His idea was to make a comfortable running shoe that made runners to run faster and longer. In 1972 the shoe got public in OS and became a topseller very fast, some people says Cortez was the key to Nikes rise, as it has been a top seller since it was released. The model is also famous because of their appearance in the movie “Forrest Gump” from 1994.
